Convened by Professor Keith L. Camacho of UCLA’s Asian American Studies Department, the conference will explore the rise of Pacific Islander youth cultures in urban locales across Aotearoa, California, Guåhan, Hawai‘i, the Marshall Islands, Sāmoa, Tonga, Utah, and Vanuatu. Featuring speakers from community organizations, research universities, and student associations, the symposium will be held at the UCLA Luskin Conference Center on April 13, Saturday, from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
