Transforming Justice to Transform Community panel w/ Prof. Grace Hong

Given the political climate in the United States, we are seeking to explore the power of Transforming Justice to Transform Community. Expert panelists from UCLA, CSU Fullerton, and Harvard University will discuss the power of restorative and transformative practices in addressing unjust social and political inequity and ultimately transforming our community into a space where all people feel safe, respected, and valued. Tuesday, April 30th from 5-7:30 at UCLA School of Law, Room 1420. Food provided. Let us know you’re coming.

 

The CARE Program invites you to an evening with experts in restorative and transformative justice featuring:

Grace Hong, PhD (she/her)
Professor, Gender Studies and Asian American Studies at UCLA

Ramsey Champagne, M.A. (she/her)
Community Advocate at Harvard University

Xhercis Méndez, PhD (she/her)
Assistant Professor at Cal State Fullerton

Panelists will discuss the power of restorative and transformative practices in addressing unjust social and political inequity and ultimately transforming our community into a space where all people feel safe, respected, and valued. To do that, we will need your voice. Come join the conversation!
