We cordially invite you to Pacific Ties’ Print Issue Launch Party on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 6 to 8.30 p.m. at UCLA Campbell Hall, room 3232.

This year’s theme is “DREAMS,” inspired by the different definitions and experiences that  generations of APIDAs associate with the American Dream. Through this print issue, we aim to explore the nature of this American Dream, to discuss whether it truly can be achieved with faith and perseverance, or whether it would be more appropriately named a “hoax” or a “nightmare.” On Wednesday, we hope to share some of our insights with you through our staff writers, who will be reading short fragments from their published pieces.
