Students, On behalf of the Eagle and the Condor Liberation Front, a political inter-tribal organization at UCLA, we invite you to attend a plática/conversation on the concept of the Third World College and how students might organize to participate, sustain, and build a decolonizing university. We as an Indigenous organization do not believe that an institution like UCLA will ever be decolonized nor fully work in favor of the community. As students, it is our imperative that we create and transform those tools the university holds in order to do that decolonizing work. In the spirit of the Third World College, we hope to create temporal yet persevering projects that disrupt settler colonialism acting through the university. We will only center Students of Color and Indigenous student voices. Please join us on November 15th, 2018 at 6 PM in Haines A82.
