Apply to be a part of the board of coordinators for the UC Asian American Studies Colloquium! With support from the UCLA Asian American Studies Center, Department of Asian American Studies, and Asian Pacific Coalition, the colloquium will showcase research and creative projects on various topics of Asian American Studies. We are looking for students interested in communications, publicity, web design, and event planning. This application is open to any undergraduates of the UC system, you do not need to be a major or minor in Asian American Studies. Call for Submissions – UC-wide Asian American Studies Research Colloquium
With support from the UCLA Asian American Studies Center, Department of Asian American Studies, and Asian Pacific Coalition, the colloquium will showcase student research and creative projects on various topics of Asian American Studies. The colloquium is open to any student of the UC system with a research or creative project pertaining to a topic in Asian American, Pacific Islander, and Desi Studies, and will gather virtually from May 10-14 to share their work as a poster or an oral presentation.
All students are encouraged to submit abstracts to participate in the Research Showcase, they do not need to be a major or minor in Asian American Studies. Participants will be able to choose whether they wish to submit a live or pre-recorded presentation in a brief survey that they will receive after they apply to the virtual Research Showcase via the Google Form.
