Sharon Lau (she/her) is a second-generation Chinese American from San Francisco. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Asian American Studies at San Francisco State University. She is a third year graduate student in the dual Asian American Studies M.A. and Master of Social Welfare (MSW) program. Her research focuses on the mental health attitudes and help-seeking behaviors of Chinese American young adults. She is a clinical intern at Asian Pacific Counseling and Treatment Center and former Prevention Education MSW intern at UCLA CARE. In her free time, Sharon enjoys binge watching shows on any streaming platform while snacking on hot chips, (carpool) karaoke with her best friends, and keeping up with the latest celebrity gossip.
