DESCRIPTION:The sisters of Kappa Psi Epsilon Sorority Inc. at UCLA Delta Chapter would like to welcome you to our annual Pinay Symposium\, “Pinay State of Mind”! \nThis year’s Pinay Symposium focuses on the intersectionality of mental health on the experiences of Pinays and in the context of our community and personal identity as Asian Americans. By discussing\, understanding\, and identifying how cultural beliefs and longheld stigmas on mental health play a part in our own mental health struggles\, we can begin to find ways to further heal ourselves and our community. “Pinay State of Mind” aims to open honest discussions about mental health within the Asian American community through an inspiring and empowering panel of womxn guest speakers and by providing a safe space to share our struggles. \nJoin us to engage in activities and dialogue regarding mental health issues in the context of the Asian American community and hear from a panel of strong womxn.
