Emerging Scholars Award for Excellence in Research and Public Policy – DEADLINE: March 15, 2019

The UC Center Sacramento is excited to announce its fifth annual Emerging Scholars Award for Excellence in Research and Public Policy.

The award will recognize excellence in graduate student research with a direct impact on public policy. The recipients of the Emerging Scholars Award will receive a $500 prize and will deliver a policy lecture at UCCS. The policy lecture is a great way for graduate students to meet people from the policy community, and develop contacts in Sacramento. At UCCS we have between 100-150 people attend each talk, and the audience is composed of legislators, legislative staff, state agencies, consultants, faculty, graduate students, and other researchers.

The deadline to apply is March 15, 2019.
