German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Study/Research Grants- Deadline: Monday, October 15, 2018 @ 4:00 pm

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Study/Research Grants provide qualified students and recent graduates the opportunity to complete a program of additional studies, conduct independent study, or complete a master’s or doctoral degree in Germany.


Please forward this announcement to your graduate students, graduating undergraduate seniors, and postdoctoral scholars. The campus deadline for the DAAD Study/Research Grants in the Non-Arts Fields is 4:00 pm, Monday, October 15, 2018. All application components must be submitted (1) online via the DAAD portal and (2) as a single PDF of all documents (EXCEPT the letter of recommendation) in the order listed on the attached to  Note:  If the online checklist differs from the attached, applicants should use the online information.

STUDY SCHOLARSHIPSare available to highly qualified final-year undergraduate students or those who have received an undergraduate degree of all disciplines for a full master’s degree program at a German university, or for study at a German university as part of a postgraduate or master’s degree program completed in the home country.


LONG-TERM RESEARCH GRANTSare available to highly qualified candidates who have completed a master’s degree or in exceptional cases a bachelor’s degree at the latest by the time they begin their grant-supported research, or those who have already completed a PhD (postdocs), or to individuals wishing to earn a doctoral degree in Germany.
