Bruin Partners Recruitment – Deadline: October 7, 2018

Hello Bruins!

If you want to get more involved at UCLA, meet an incredible group of Bruins, and want to give back to the community, consider joining Bruin Partners! This quarter we are recruiting for new mentors.

BP is a student-run community service organization that provides at-risk youth in Los Angeles academic tutoring as well as mentorship. Our mission is to foster a relationship between a UCLA student and a middle or high school mentee and motivate them toward higher education, therefore empowering them to one day be successful contributors to society.

Our student mentors commit three hours per week in the quarter to go to Marina del Rey Middle School, Westchester High, John F. Kennedy High or Venice High. Transportation is provided to all mentors! Our middle school mentors help with homework, and our high school mentors help primarily with SAT and ACT preparation. Mentors are paired with a mentee to foster a unique relationship that allows you to become a friend and a positive influence on your student! During site, we also engage our students with fun and educational activities.

Applications will be due on Sunday, October 7th.

Applications can be found HERE.
