News: LEAF Mentor Program - Deadline: April 15, 2017
LEAF is a new non-profit organization that provides incoming UCLA students from underprivileged communities with programs that bridge the leadership, education, and professional resource gap to be successful in higher learning.
LEAF Mentors are undergraduate student leaders who will be providing guidance to UCLA freshmen who come from underprivileged backgrounds. The deadline to apply is April 15, 2017!
If you are interested, please sign up on LEAF Mentor Application.
Please note that you must be a UCLA undergraduate student for the 2017-2018 academic year!
- If selected, you should be available for LEAF between June 1, 2017 and May 31, 2018.
- You are expected to give reasonable energy, time, and effort to the LEAF Mentorship Program during your commitment period.
- After your commitment period ends, you can choose to return as a mentor for a new freshmen class or as a general member of the LEAF organization.
- It is expected that, even after the mentorship program ends, you will continue to check in on your mentees to ensure that they are performing to the highest standard without the direct guidance of the LEAF Mentorship Program.
